Mesa Verde to offer free admission on six days in 2021

The National Park Service has announced the fee-free days for 2021. On these days, the public is invited to experience all national park units, including Mesa Verde National Park, without entrance fees.

Fee-free days for 2021 are:

Jan. 18: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

April 17: First day of National Park Week

Aug. 4: Great American Outdoors Act anniversary

Aug. 25: National Park Service birthday

Sept. 25: National Public Lands Day

Nov. 11: Veterans Day

The entrance fee waiver does not cover camping or tours.

Mesa Verde is one of about 100 national parks that has an entrance fee. There are more than 300 other national parks that do not charge an entrance fee.
