Join your friends, and meet new town and school officials at the “Dolores Meet and Greet with Sweets” on Sept. 15 from noon to 5 p.m. at Flanders Park.
Drinks and locally made desserts will be for sale.
“It is a chance to meet your neighbors, and all the new people in town,” said organizer Ruby Gonzales.
Some new local officials invited are Dolores Schools Superintendent Phil Kasper, Town Manager Jay Ruybilad, Dolores Mayor Chad Wheelus, new Athletic Director John Marchino, and new football coach Ray Davis.
Local businesses owners and members of the Galloping Goose Historical Society will also be present, and the Four Corners Community Band will perform.
Also, Friends of the Dolores Library will have a meet-and-greet on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Dolores Library.
The organization is looking for new members to help support the library and volunteer.
