The McPhee Reservoir boat ramp and inspection station will close for the season Oct. 31.

San Juan National Forest’s Dolores Ranger District will close the main McPhee Reservoir boat ramp Oct. 31 to all motorized and trailered boats. Inspections for aquatic nuisance species such as mussels will not be available until the spring boating season.
Access to the main McPhee parking lot and the top of the ramp will remain open. Non-motorized/non-trailered boats can be hand launched using the ramp. The McPhee campground remains open until Nov. 22.
