A pontoon boat docks at the McPhee Reservoir boat ramp. The ramp will open April 16.
San Juan National Forest will open access to McPhee Reservoir in Dolores for motorized boating on April 16.
Operational hours for the main boat ramp are:
- April 16-30: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- May 1-Sept. 19: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Sept. 20-Oct. 31: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Current boat registration is required to launch a vessel on the reservoir. Registration information can be found at https://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/BoatingRegistrations.aspx.
