Mass casualty training scheduled for Dolores High School

The Southwest Regional Emergency Trauma Advisory Council, in collaboration with the Dolores School District, Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, Dolores Fire Protection District, and Southwest Memorial Hospital, is hosting an MCICS 200 Course which involves a Mass Casualty Scenario on June 17 and 18 at the Dolores High School.

Agencies from Montezuma County and throughout the region will be participating to enhance their ability to respond collaboratively to a mass casualty event.

June 17 is in an instructional environment on best practices and tactics. June 18th, the training will culminate with an exercise. Please do not be alarmed as emergency response vehicles and personnel will be active around the Dolores High School.
