Saturday, Feb. 22
9:44 a.m. Mancos Sgt. Brad Ray conducted a traffic stop for speed in the 41000 block of U.S. Highway 160. The passenger stated he had a warrant out of La Plata County, which was confirmed through Cortez dispatch as being issued for failing to appear on a traffic offense. The man was arrested without incident and booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center.
