The Mancos Valley Chorus is conducting a search for a choral director. A degree or equivalent experience in a musical field and enthusiasm to lead this choral group of 30-35 adults of varying musical abilities is required. Patience and the willingness to work with and teach adults is also a must.
The salary range per season of thirteen rehearsals (one each week) and five concerts (all in one week) for this part-time position is $1,080-$1,350. This is up for negotiation considering travel and experience. There is a Fall and Spring season to which the chorus requires a commitment. Music for both seasons has already been chosen and rehearsal CDs have been recorded.
