Participants are being sought to take part in the “Mancos Library Rolling Brigade” for the 60th annual Mancos Days Parade.
The library is looking for people who are interested in representing the site by decorating and riding bicycles, tricycles, skateboard or other wheeled contraptions in this year’s parade.
Mancos Days will take place from July 26-28, with the parade making its way downtown the morning of Saturday, July 27. This year’s Mancos Days theme will be “All You Need is Love.”
Parade registration and lineup will happen at 9 a.m. at Grand Avenue and Spruce Street, with the parade starting at 10 a.m.
Interested participants can send a message to jkitchen@mancoslibrary.org, call the library at 533-7600, or sign up at the library front desk.
Those who take part will be asked to meet up before the parade starts to talk over “rolling” logistics and to decorate rides.
The library will also be making another presence at Mancos Days, with a book sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
