The University of Wyoming accorded degrees to a Mancos resident at the completion of the 2019 spring semester.
Rica Fulton of Mancos received a Master of Arts degree.
The Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in Cottonwood Park in Mancos.
A classic car show will be added for the fifth annual Summer Brewfest. In addition, live music, food, libations and kids activities will be offered. Mancos Brewing Co. and Mancos Valley Resources, a nonprofit charitable organization, present the riverside festival to celebrate the community and benefit local causes.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
Admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate for adults. Students 13 to 18 get in for $5. Children 12 and younger get in for free.
At the event, festival-goers can purchase tickets to exchange for beer or wine. Six tickets cost $10. One ticket is good for a 5-ounce taster. Three tickets get a beer or a glass of wine.
Advance tickets are on sale now at Mancos Brewing Co., Zuma Natural Foods and Mancos Liquor. Tickets are also available in Cortez at Kokopelli Bike & Board, in Dolores at the Dolores Food Market, and in Durango at Jamie’s Fine Jewelry Shop.
