Blocks without Borders, a local art quilting group, will host a public exhibit of art quilts from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Stitchers Haven, 30 W. Main St.
Meet the artists, learn about art quilting and how it differs from traditional piecing and see the creative results of COVID-19 isolation for artists.
The group will exhibit work from Marty Ambrose, LouAnn Ball, Colleen Barnett, Janet Huffman, Susan Madden, Sheila Newman, Judith Swain and Marie Wirth.
Light refreshments will be served.
The Montezuma County History quilt will also be on display. This fundraising quilt was created by members of Blocks Without Borders and donated to the Montezuma Heritage Museum for their fundraising.
The event is supported by Cortez Quilt Co.
