The Journal

In keeping with the Summer Libraries theme, “A Universe of Stories,” Science Matters created Space Adventures, a fun and interactive show.

Space Adventures will be presented at 2 p.m. June 19 at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.

From gravity to wind to chemical reactions, outer space is a very different place from Earth. Learn about the properties of space, see how rockets make it to space, find out how to make a comet out of dry ice and explore a non-Newtonian substance.

The free show is sponsored by Golden Dreams under Onward!, a Legacy Foundation. For more information, call 565-8117.
