Internationally renowned Montessori and early-childhood education teacher and musician Frank Leto will perform at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St. Leto combines his skills as both teacher and musician to create a sound that children will love. This performance appeals to all ages.
The Montelores Early Childhood Council and the library will host a one-day professional workshop for early-childhood educators on Friday at First National Bank. Teachers will be empowered with a repertoire of interactive songs and musical presentations aimed at developing basic musical skills in young children.
