The High Desert Conservation District will host a “Drones and Agriculture” seminar on Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Colorado State University Southwest Research Center, 16910 Road Z, Yellow Jacket.
There will be aerial drone demonstrations and presentations on practical farm and ranch uses, including for inspecting sprinklers, crop production, and fertility and irrigation efficiency.
See drones in action using infrared sensors and digital imaging for advanced monitoring and precision agriculture. Information on flying legalities and drone technology will also be presented.
