The League of Women Voters will meet on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. at the Dolores Public Library for a presentation by Jeanine Gentry, the CEO of Southwest Memorial Hospital.
The program is part one of a two-part series on the local hospital. On Jan. 14, members of both boards of the hospital will explain why there are two hospital boards and the functions of each board.
The hospital receives funding from taxpayers in Montezuma County and is an essential component of a healthy and robust community, according to the League of Women Voters news release.
