Suspect fled scene in stolen 2006 Toyota Avalon
A suspect in connection with a domestic violence assault on Sunday that injured a woman remains at large as of Wednesday afternoon.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Matthew Malouff, 24, of Denver, on suspicion of second-degree assault and motor vehicle theft in the incident, which occurred near Elmore’s Corner, said Sgt. Wes Doughty with the Sheriff’s Office.
Malouff is suspected of assaulting a woman in her home at 12:49 a.m. Sunday. The woman lost several teeth in the assault, Doughty said.
Malouff fled the scene in the woman’s 2006 Toyota Avalon.
The car is believed to have back-end damage, but no other information about the car was available.
