K-9 Search and Rescue pancake breakfast Saturday

The K-9 Search and Rescue Team will hold its annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 10, beginning at 6 a.m. at the Dog House, 35 Railroad Ave.

The pancake breakfast is the team's largest fundraiser. Held during Escalante Days, it features a hot cooked breakfast for a small donation.

This year, the pancake breakfast will also include a silent auction for a 72-gallon aluminum secondary fuel tank, an 80-gallon secondary fuel tank, four LT235 85R 16 tires with minimal mileage, a Vitamaster 175P treadmill, filing cabinets, tire chains, and donations from local businesses such as Holgate's Tools & Equipment, Aaron's, Kokopelli Bike & Board Shop, City Market, Once Upon a Sandwich, J. Fargo's and more. For the complete list of silent auction items, go to www.k9team.org.

The funds from the pancake breakfast help purchase and update vital equipment and maintain basic operational readiness for when the team is needed.

Plan to come support the team, meet the "K-9ers," view the facility and hang out with the four-legged members of the team.
