In the 1930s, the world watched as a madman led his country to its destruction ending in world war. Today, our country is deeply divided and some may wonder which side is right.
When we look around and see that our elected leader has put us on the side of ruthless dictators and Nazis, and has turned us against our allies in the free world, we’re on the wrong side.
When we allow our elected leader to put the interests of the greedy billionaire class above the interests of our own people, our workers, our veterans, our seniors and our children, we’re on the wrong side.
When they came for our friends and neighbors who are hardworking employees providing essential government services to our community and country, they did so deceitfully.
These fired employees were told in a form letter that they were unqualified and incompetent. These are blatant lies. They told us that those fired were wasteful, fraudulent and corrupt. More blatant lies.
If you think they aren’t coming for you next, for your Social Security retirement, health care, freedom of speech and voting rights, you aren’t paying attention.
This isn’t about blue or red anymore, it’s about truth or lies, right or wrong, democracy or dictatorship. Our democracy only works when our government, empowered by “we the people” is on the right side. This is on us now.
