Is Tipton a responsible representative?

When the government is crafting a bill that overhauls the health care insurance of the entire U.S., it is the responsibility of our state representative to know – before he votes for or against the bill – what the Congressional Budget Office says will be the effects of the bill over the next 10 years.

The House of Representatives, under the leadership of the GOP, decided to bring this bill to a vote without taking into account the analysis normally provided by the CBO.

Rep. Scott Tipton voted for this bill without seeing the analysis normally provided by the CBO. Yet, they (including Tipton) think that they know – better than the CBO – what is good for the country. The GOP and Tipton have crawled on their knees and done the bidding of the president without the critical analysis we the taxpayers pay for, whether the GOP looks at it or not. This is very irresponsible of the GOP and Tipton.

I hope that in 2018 we elect a more responsible representative for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.

Tipton must go!
