How could we forget what really happened on Jan. 6?

Any conceivable move to punish members of the Jan. 6. Commission is an unfathomable, “I’m your retribution” reminder.

What happened? Collective amnesia, maybe from COVID-19? Fluoride in the water? It’s a puzzlement. How could we forget?

On Jan. 6, 2021, I watched the events unfold on television. No special effects from Sony Pictures, no troublesome Antifa members, (whoever they are), no undercover FBI, no mirrors but smoke and a mob.

A destructive mob.

The mob Trump said didn’t want to hurt him but wanted to hang his vice president, use plastic ties to restrain liberals, and maybe kill more than a few of them, like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and AOC.

They broke down the doors and entered my Capitol with the fiery, mindless intent of hurting people and breaking things.

The masses were led by misfit military and misfit cops, threatening all in their way with violence.

What happened to the “make my day” kinda law? How many doors of my dear neighbors in Montezuma County could I knock down, and menacingly, enter their home with a flagpole spear and a can of wasp spray before I’m possibly shot?

The perpetrators of the Jan. 6 riot are lucky insurrectionists. Wimps, with their laundry in a wad because their fearless leader got his behind handed to him by Joe Biden.

If this tyrant opens the cells of these traitors, then threatens to imprison Liz Cheney and other real patriots, justice is over in America.
