If you’re looking for work, you’re in luck. The city of Cortez is looking to hire.
“Whether you are a student seeking summer employment, an individual looking to gain experience in a recreational setting, or anyone with a passion for working with children, we welcome you to the Job Fair,” according to a news release.
The fair will be on Tuesday, March 18 in the Canyon Room at the Cortez Recreation Center, 425 Roger Smith Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The city is hiring a slew of positions, from lifeguards to camp counselors to cashiers.
“This is an excellent opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to join a dedicated team committed to providing a high-quality recreational experience,” the news release said.
Attendees will “meet with hiring managers, learn about job responsibilities, and participate in job skill demonstrations,” the press release said.
