A former mentor of mine – Paul Jesilow, a Jewish man – once told me the Jewish people believe Native American Indian people are part of the “lost tribe of Israel.” I don’t know about the veracity of this statement, but if it is true, then that would make Jews “blood” to Native people.
Yaqui, Navajo (Dine’), Pima, Ute, et al, are all blood in the Native paradigm – akin to how family members may have different surnames but are nonetheless family.
Happy Passover. And think fondly of the sacrifices made by your ancestors so that you can now protest everything under the sun in the land of the free. Best to all.
