‘Grave injustices’ in lack of ‘alacrity’

I cannot think of a legal case in America’s history more important that whether a sitting president, with impunity, can attempt to overthrow a presidential election result in order to remain in power.

For the Supreme Court to have even taken the claim of presidential immunity is debatable, but to slow walk its decision while we approach what will be the most decisive election in American history is no less than an injustice to our country.

While the Supreme Court ponders whether a president can legally upend the very foundation of our government, another judge is busy tilting the scale in Florida. Should a certain presidential candidate be trusted to protect our nation’s secrets is an issue almost as important as a president attempting to overturn an election.

That these two cases are not being adjudicated with the alacrity they deserve are by themselves grave injustices.
