Grant-writing sessions planned in Durango

Community Resource Center is bringing a three-part Pen to Paper Grant-writing Series to Southwest Colorado.

The series will provide consulting and peer review of a current grant application, with direct feedback and revisions between workshop sessions. Each session will focus on an element of the common grant application, including narrative, goals and objectives, and grant application, according to communications assistant Mariah Taylor.

The sessions are:

Develop Your Effective Case for Support: Oct. 30, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Durango Public Library.

Mission Building Blocks: Oct. 31, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Durango Public Library.

Grant Attachments: Nov. 28, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., location to be determined.

The series, supported by the Ballantine Family Fund, will be offered at $150 per person to nonprofits in the region. The series is normally priced at $300.

Each session will be facilitated in Durango by Maria Fabula, President and CEO of Community Resource Center.
