Can us local taxpayers get a refund for that joke that was the Fourth of July drone show? It lasted a mere five minutes and was about as technologically advanced as Windows Paint.
The City of Durango owes the community a refund or an additional display of real fireworks (fire danger permitting, obviously) later this year. This once momentous occasion was a complete letdown. Next year, please use the $45K (!) for a real performance or donate it to an organization that can take the lead.
