We have made it seven months without our beloved Michael, and we continue to miss him everyday. His passing leaves an empty place in our hearts that will never be filled.
In our grief, however, we have experienced great joy as well. The many friends and acquaintances who have reached out to offer comfort, and in many cases to share memories of Michael, has been a wonderful gift and blessing. As with every parent, we felt our son was special, but his death has given us the opportunity to learn how highly regarded and how special he was to so many others as well.
Thank you to all who have reached out – and continue to lend support – as we move forward. Michael cared deeply for his family and friends and kept them close – he understood the importance of the people in his life. Many of you lit candles the day of his memorial service.
Please help us continue to celebrate his life through the kindnesses you extend to others – all year round.
