Young people from ages 8-17 will be able to take to the skies Aug. 31 during a Young Eagles Flight Rally in Monticello, Utah.
The flight rally will be held by Experimental Aircraft Association’s Chapter 1606 Abajo Aviators. Visit the chapter’s website at www.1606.eaachapter.org for more information.
The EAA Young Eagles Program was created to interest young people in aviation.
Flights start at 9 a.m. Those attending the flight rally are asked come to Monticello Utah Airport, Pilot Lounge, starting at 8:30 a.m. to register for their flight.
Each pilot volunteers their time and aircraft so the flights can be provided free of charge for interested youngsters.
