Mercy Regional Medical Center has moved and expanded its free COVID-19 testing location to the parking lot located on the east side of Mercy Hospice House, 1010 Three Springs Boulevard, on the hospital’s main campus.

San Juan Basin Public Health and Mercy Regional Medical Center are joining together on the effort to test both symptomatic and asymptomatic people at the new location.

The testing site will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

“Mercy’s strong partnership with San Juan Basin Health has enabled us to further increase access to testing for our community,” said Mike Murphy, Mercy CEO. “It is our goal to make testing conveniently and readily available to every member of our community.”

This new location provides space to accommodate traffic and is able to support in-vehicle, drive-thru testing. Individuals should remain in their vehicles.

Testing is open to any member of the general public, either symptomatic or asymptomatic, who wants to receive a COVID-19 screening test.

Neither an appointment or physician’s order are needed.

Testing is provided free of charge. Tested individuals will receive notification of results within 24-48 hours except for negative results received during the weekend, in which case individuals will be notified the following business day.
