Four Seasons named to top 100 list

Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery joined the ranks of the horticulture industry’s top independent garden centers when it was named to Today’s Garden Center Magazine’s Revolutionary 100 List for 2014.

This is the eighth year in a row that they have been named to the prestigious Revolutionary 100 list. In 2009, 2012 and 2013 they were the regional winner and in 2013 they were named the National Winner.

The program, which began in 2006, surveys independent garden center owners and managers and culminates in a listing of the 100 most revolutionary garden centers in the nation. It is open to all independent garden centers, large and small, and is based on leadership and innovation, not on size or revenue.

“This list is comprised of the very best garden centers in our industry and it’s always an honor to be included on the list,” Vic Vanik, owner of Four Seasons, said. “The challenge of staying revolutionary in our industry is what keeps us motivated in trying to consistently offer the best in service, products and education for our customers.”

Garden center owners and managers across the United States fill out an extensive online questionnaire covering topics such as customer and community service, management philosophy, marketing, use of technology, purchasing and profitability.
