Fire on the second floor of apartment building was extinguished

About noon Friday, the Farmington Fire Department responded to a fire on the second floor of the Butler Arms apartments, in the 600 block of East 17th Street.
Assistant Fire Marshal Kipp Rix said the case was still under investigation and no further information was available. Rix estimated that information of the cause of the fire would likely be available by the end of next week.
