FBI seeks public’s assistance identifying bank robbery suspect

FARMINGTON – The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of bank robbery.

According to a news release from FBI spokesman Frank Fisher, the man is described as a white, heavy-set male in his 30s or 40s who wore blue jeans and an olive-green long-sleeve shirt.

About 4 p.m. Monday, the suspect allegedly robbed Sandia Federal Credit Union, at 8505 Candelaria Road NE in Albuquerque.

“The suspect entered the credit union and presented a demand note to a teller,” the release said. “The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.”
