Officials are asking for public’s help

FARMINGTON – A month after a man was found dead on the Navajo Nation, the FBI has reached out to the public to ask for assistance in identifying the responsible party/parties.
Michael Barney Sr. was found dead outside his home, according to a news release from the FBI. The 50-year-old man’s home was located on Roadrunner Drive in Sundance, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation.
While the cause of death is pending, it is being considered suspicious, according to the release.
