Farmington teen still missing after more than a week

Police seek community’s help to locate teen

The Farmington Police Department has requested the public’s help in locating a teenage girl who reportedly was last seen Oct. 10.

Ayrika Wayne, 16, was last seen running northbound, alone, on Dustin Avenue and 20th St., in Farmington, on Oct. 10.

Wayne is described as 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, with brown eyes and hair, according to a post on the Farmington Police Facebook page.

She was wearing a black-and-white flannel jacket, a black shirt and blue jeans, the post said.

According to Farmington Police spokesperson, Georgette Allen, Ayrika has not been located, as of Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Police ask that anyone with information about Wayne’s whereabouts call the non-emergency dispatch at (505) 334-6622.
