Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, a segment of Colorado Highway 145 will undergo a repaving process that’s expected to take two weeks.
The work will be between mile points 21 and 23, about 10 miles north of Dolores on the way to Telluride.
Travelers can expect “up to 20-minute delays, full stops and one-lane alternating traffic between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.,” according to the Colorado Department of Transportation’s website.
In the work zones, the speed limit will drop to 40 mph. Since the work is weather-dependent, the end date of Sept. 12 is estimated.
However, “CDOT will work as swiftly as possible to complete paving operations,” its website said.
