Enterprise Zone Tax Credits information session to take place on March 13

The session will provide information on how businesses can acquire state income tax credits

The city of Cortez will host an information session about Enterprise Zone tax credits in the training room at City Hall, 123 E. Roger Smith Ave., Wednesday, March 13, from 1 to 2 p.m.

The tax credits program is run by the state of Colorado. Businesses in designated enterprise zones can become eligible for state income tax credits for investments such as equipment purchases, job creation, job training and rehabilitating vacant buildings, according to information provided by Helen West from the city of Cortez.

Farmers and ranchers also are eligible.

No registration is required for the event, which is available in person virtually. A recording of the session also will be available.
