Each year, Empire Electric Association offers $1,000 educational scholarships for high school seniors planning to go to college or $1,000 scholarships for students pursuing a vocational/technical certificate as a lineman or $500 scholarships for other electrical or related trades.
Six scholarships are available for adults pursuing further education. Applicants must be EEA members, a spouse or a dependent of a member.
High school seniors may pick up an application from their guidance counselor’s office, at EEA headquarters or online at www.eea.coop/scholarships.
Adult scholarship applications may be downloaded at www.eea.coop/scholarships or picked up at EEA headquarters, 801 N. Broadway.
Applications must be received by Feb. 15.
