The winners will advance to the district competition
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the Cortez Elks Lodge will host a soccer shoot for children 16 years old and younger. Winners of each division will advance onto the district competition.
There will be five goal and grid goal contests, and participants will be divided into five divisions, with five divisions for boys and five divisions for girls.
The divisions are 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under.
The competition will be at the south end of Parque de Vida near the skate park. Sign-ups will take place from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with the competitions to start at 9:30 a.m.
