El Pomar Foundation approves $17,500 to nonprofits in the Southwest region

El Pomar Trustees approved $17,500 allocated to three nonprofit organizations in the Southwest region at the Foundation’s December Trustees meeting. Through the foundation’s grant making process, these organizations were awarded grants:

Four Corners Rainbow Youth Center – $2,500 in general operating support; regional council.Ignacio Community Library District – $10,000 in general operating support; competitive.Wildfire Adaptive Partnership – $5,000 in general operating support; Wildland Fire Fund.The Southwest Regional Council recommends grants in Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan counties.
