El Pomar Foundation approves $122,000 to nonprofits in the Southwest

El Pomar Trustees approved $122,000 in grant allocations to 22 nonprofit organizations in the Southwest region at the Foundation’s October Trustees meeting. These organizations were awarded grants:

Cancer Research Alliance of Cortez: $2,500 to support cancer patients; regional merit.Colorado Agricultural Leadership Program of Cortez: $45,000 in general operating support; competitive.Crow Canyon Archaeological Center of Cortez: $10,000 for the distance learning program; competitive.Episcopal Parish of St. Barnabas of the Valley of Cortez: $5,000 for Montezuma Youth Pride; regional merit.Medicine Horse Center Therapeutic Riding & Equine Rehabilitation of Mancos: $3,000 for the AWARE Youth Program; Karl E. Eitel.Onward!
