El Pomar approves $90,000 to nonprofits in SW Colorado

El Pomar Trustees approved $90,000 allocated among 11 nonprofit organizations in the southwest region in February and March. Through the foundation’s grant-making processes, these local organizations were awarded funding:

Dolores County: $30,000 for a youth mental health counselor. Regional council.Manna: Durango soup kitchen, $3,500 for food distribution to school students and the Southern Ute Tribe Boys and Girls Clubs. Colorado Assistance Fund.Silverton School District: $5,000 for food distribution for students related to COVID-19.
