The Dolores Library is hosting several events in May for adults and children.
On May 5, the Teen Taco Makers event will teach kids in 6th through 12th grades how to make and cook their own tacos in celebration of Cinco de Mayo Day. To sign up email shaine@doloreslibrary.org
On May 6 at 9:30 a.m. there will be a free community yoga session at the library taught by Jonne Monet.
On May 10, Mothers Day, bring your children for Tea Story time at 10 a.m.
On May 13 and May 20th, from noon to 3 p.m. beader Betty Shneider will host her class Beading with Betty. Call (970) 882-4127 for preregistration.
On May 18 join local plant specialist Al Schneider for a 1-3 mile walk to learn and enjoy wildflowers of the new McPhee Overlook Trail. Preregistration is required. Call Al at (970) 882-4647 to register and for information.
On May 19 at 10 a.m. join naturalist Karen Ordemann for a nature discovery walk along the Dolores River Trail to learn about riparian areas. Bring binoculars if desired. Meet at the library.
On May 26 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. kids and families are invited for Lego Club.
