The Dolores Chamber of Commerce will host a community-wide yard sale and farmers market with businesses, residents, growers and makers showcasing their products on Saturday.
A mountain bike race put on by the Dolores Rotary will also take place.
Along with town yard sales, businesses and restaurants will offer specials, thrift store discounts, antique mall finds, sidewalk and parking lot sales and a motel overstock sale.
The Farmers Market will open at 11 a.m. Some vendors have opted to show as early as 7 a.m. The market will have Navajo tacos, street tacos, baked goods, local honey, veggies, jewelry, woodworkers, home goods, art, gems and a local author selling her latest book set in Dolores.
KKDC D’Crow Radio will visit businesses and the Farmers Market for live broadcasting and Ray McDonnell will play music. Listen to 93.3 FM for information on store giveaways.

A mountain bike race will also take place on Saturday. There are four race categories: a 13-mile beginner route, 18-mile sport route, a 33-mile endurance route, and a 50-mile expert route. The event is limited to 150 riders. To register, go to the Dolores Chamber Facebook page.
A drive-in movie showing of Forrest Gump will take place at 8:30 p.m. at Joe Rowell Park. Entry is free. The community is encouraged to get take out from a local restaurant. Parking is limited to 75 vehicles. A concession stand with popcorn, beverages and snacks will be available, and will be giving out free Dolores logo stickers. The drive-in movies will continue every Friday through September.
