Dolores 80 Years Ago

Jesse Robinson was down from Bear creek Tuesday and stopped in at the Star office long enough to say that the Dolores-Rico road has the best gosh-durn road supervisor in the basin.

Mr. Robinson stated that he had been over many of the roads in the southwest part of the state recently, and he has found Alfred Patterson's road to be the best, and he wanted the Star to tell the cock-eyed world about it.

All right, Mr. Robinson we have done so. The upper Dolores is fortunate in having two fine road men that we know of: Alfred Patterson on the Dolores-Rico road, and W. B. Ogletree on West Fork. Both are entitled to great credit for the splendid effort.
