Without doubt, the best-equipped dairy in this part of the country is that of C.N. Morrison, of Summit Ridge community. It was this writer's pleasure to visit and inspect this establishment this week and see just what an up-to-date dairy farm consists of. Mr. Morrison has been to a great deal of labor and expense in building and equipping this dairy and the people of this community may well be proud that they are served by such an establishment. Mr. Morrison is now milking a herd of 22 high grade Jersey cows, supplying milk to Dolores and Beaver CCC camp.

Farmers under the Montezuma Valley Irrigation system are limited to domestic uses only and under the Summit system, the irrigation is being curtailed. Snow has practically all gone from the hills and the ground is exceedingly dry with many springs drying up.
