Bears in first game of sub-district playoff
Dolores Bears play in the first round of games in Sub-District Playoff at For Lewis next Thursday evening, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. They will play the Pagosa Springs Pirates. Second game will be Mancos and Bayfield at 8:30 p.m.
Friday's games will be between the losers of game 1 and game 2 at 7 p.m. Friday. Dove Creek, which received a by in first round, will play the winner of game 1 at 8 p.m.
Saturday's events will find the winner of game 3 playing the loser of game 4 at 7 p.m. and the final game at 8:30 p.m. will be the winner of the game 2 playing the winner of game 4.
League champions and winner of this tournament (second place winner if the first two are the same team) will then advance to the district contest the following week March 8 - 9 at Fort Lewis between the San Juan League teams and the Mountain League teams.
