Regardless of your political preference, I would hope that we could all agree that last-minute attack ads that do not carry the approval of a candidate should be condemned for exactly what they are. A blatant effort to distort information to influence voters who are susceptible to emotional manipulation because they lack background information that exposes the lies in such ads.
This morning, I heard such an ad on the radio. Dark money is attempting to distort U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert's support for our veterans. The truth is Boebert believes that taxpayer money should be appropriated in legislation during the budget process, not pork barrel legislation that has landed us $31 trillion in debt.
I urge all voters to do your homework when you hear these ads before casting a vote.
