CSU to host viticulture roadshow

The Montezuma County Colorado State University Extension will host a Viticulture Roadshow from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 30 at the First National Bank Community Room, 2258 E. Main St.

The Montezuma County Colorado State University Extension will host a Viticulture Roadshow from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 30 at the First National Bank Community Room, 2258 E. Main St.

Meet Miranda Ulmer, Colorado State University’s new viticulture specialist who will be serving the Western Slope of Colorado. Horst Caspari from the Western Colorado Research Center will also be on hand to present guidelines and recent research in grape cultivation. Doug Caskey will also be present to discuss current happenings at the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board and Stephen Menke will be joining with his wine-making expertise.

The event is free. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Do not park in the First National Bank customer parking lot. Parking is available in the big parking lot.
