Forest Service says vehicle rolled off road, went down embankment
Two people were taken to a hospital Sunday after driving off a road on Missionary Ridge, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
Forest Service spokeswoman Esther Godson said a vehicle with two occupants rolled off a road on Missionary Ridge, north of Durango. The vehicle then went down an embankment and across another switchback.
Godson said the people were extracted and taken to a hospital.
As of Monday afternoon, Godson did not have any more information about the incident.
