CROP REPORTING DATES FOR 2014

Producers who file accurate and timely reports for all crops and land uses, including failed acreage can prevent the potential loss of FSA program benefits. Please pay close attention to acreage reporting dates listed, as some dates have changed for 2014 crop year.

To comply with FSA program eligibility requirements, all participating producers are encouraged to visit the Montezuma County FSA office to file an accurate crop certification report by applicable deadlines:

Waiver reporting date is Dec. 3 for forage and pasture and fall-seeded small grains. An exception exists for perennial forage crop with intended use of “cover only,” “green manure,” “left standing,” or “seed,” which have an acreage deadline of July 15.

July 15: report of all other crops and NAP production evidence from prior crop year. Regular final reporting date is Nov. 15; however, a waiver has been granted that allows producers to report Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2013.
