Kenneth Walker of Cortez spoke on a panel at the American Indian Studies Association’s national conference in Tempe, Arizona, on Feb. 1-2.

The panel, titled “Upsetting Settler Nationalism: Fort Lewis College Native American & Indigenous Studies Student Scholars” gave each participant a chance to speak on his or her independent research. Walker’s research was titled “History ReCycled: Looking at the Past to Change the Future.”
