Cortez Public Library will participate in the Waterford.org Upstart Program this fall.
Waterford will provide a free resource for upcoming kindergarten students. Each participating family will be provided with a computer, internet (if needed,) a family coach and Waterford’s award-winning software in the areas of reading, math and science.
Families will be allowed to keep the computer if the child completes the program. The child must participate in the program five days a week and 20 minutes per day. The program is offered on a first come first served basis. Registering as soon as possible is recommended.
Families are encouraged register children going into kindergarten this fall by visiting www.waterford.org/upstart or by calling (888) 982-9898.
